Welcome to The Traditional Garden Games "Traditional Store" - Terms & Conditions.

Shipping And Handling

Please be aware when signing the delivery notification this is a legally binding agreement that the goods are not damaged in any way and the correct number of parcels has been received.

There are 3 acceptable ways of signing the delivery note.

1) Please sign with your signature if you are happy with the goods as delivered.

2) Sign with your signature plus the word 'Damaged' if there are any signs of damage to the contents of the parcels delivered.

3) Sign with your signature plus the number of parcels received if not all parcels are present.

If the delivery note is signed Unchecked, Not inspected or in any other way than the three options above, will we will NOT be able to process any claim for any reason.

"Refusing Goods"

Any item that is refused at the delivery address for any reason will incur additional carriage charges. We will be charged for the item to be returned to us which you will be liable for and there will be and additional charge for resending the item. This will be twice the original delivery cost which must be paid before the item is resent.

"Correct Number of Parcels"

Please check the delivery note for the amount of parcels you should receive. If they are not all delivered it is very important you write on the delivery note the number of parcels you have received and contact us within 24 hours of the delivery.

If you sign for the amount of parcels shown on the delivery note but report later that they were not delivered we will NOT be able to process any claim for the missing item.

"Goods that have arrived Damaged"

Claims can be made for transit damage ONLY if you have paid for the optional insurance where applicable, you have informed us within 24 hours of the delivery being made and the delivery note is signed "DAMAGED". It is your responsibility to ensure that the contents of your goods are checked BEFORE signing the delivery note.

If you see signs of damage to the contents of the box then it is VERY IMPORTANT that you sign the delivery note as damaged.

In this case mark it as "damaged" next to your signature.

In the unlikely event that the item has been damaged in transit, you have signed 'Damaged' and have taken out the optional insurance (where applicable) please notify us by email within 24 hours of receipt.

"Delivery Addresses"

We cannot be held responsible for non delivery of items if the delivery address given is not correct. If this is incorrect or incomplete the item may be returned to our distribution warehouse. If this occurs then you will be liable for the costs of the item to be returned to us and then re-despatched back to you. i.e. twice the original delivery charge.

Specifically all items purchased will be despatched to the exact delivery address you have registered with us at the time of ordering. If this is incorrect or incomplete the item may be returned to our distribution warehouse. When this occurs then you will be liable for the costs of the item to be returned to us and then re-despatched back to you. i.e. twice the original delivery charge.

If you request an alternative delivery address to that registered with us at the time of ordering by email or any other form of communication then although we will endeavour to comply. However we cannot guarantee that either we will have received or use this information on your delivery. If the item is delivered to the address registered with us at the time of ordering, even if you have requested an alternative address then our commitment is fulfilled.

All costs must be paid before any item is re-despatched.

"Returned Goods"

If the item is returned to us or held by the courier due to there being no one present at the delivery address to take the delivery then you will be responsible for any additional shipping costs.

"Notification of Delivery of Incorrect Goods"

If the wrong goods are delivered please notify us within 24 hours so we can arrange collection and delivery of your correct item.

"Unsigned Deliveries"

If goods are left by the courier unsigned please notify us within 24 hours.

"Returns Procedure for Faulty Goods."

If you wish to return any faulty item you must first contact us via email at sales@traditionalgardengames.com. You must use any manufacturer repair or replacement service provided. Any warranty given or implied will be a return to base warranty (i.e. it will be the buyers responsibility to return the goods to us at their cost).

"Warranty"

Unless stated otherwise in the description or listing or unless the items are covered by a manufacturers warranty all our products are covered by a 7 day limited return to base warranty (Please see above for returns procedure). This does not cover misuse, abuse or fair wear and tear.

Due to the nature of inflatable and pool products and the limited life span of such products returns will not be accepted, for any reason, after 7 days from delivery.

"Product Description"

Occasionally Traditional Garden Games will update our products, and we reserve the right to supply these even if pictures and descriptions may vary from the listing shown.

"Returns Authorisation Number"

All returns must be clearly marked with a valid "Returns Authorisation Number". Failure to follow this procedure may result in your return being rejected upon receipt. See "Returns Policy".

"All the Above"

Any item returned that does not conform to our terms and conditions will be subject to a handling charge (30% of purchase price or £50 whichever is the greater). The purchaser will also be responsible for the return carriage charges.

All sales are subject to the law as applicable in the United Kingdom.

Delivery Schedule

We will normally dispatch your order to you in 3 business days . European mainland and international orders  may take a few days more. All shipping and carriage costs are calculated and  processed through our sales office.. If you have multiple items to order  we may be able to reduce these carriage / shipping costs.

Please email sales@traditionalgardengames.com with your requirements and delivery destination details for confirmation of these costs before ordering..

Over 90% of orders are despatched by carrier. The remaining lighter ones will be sent by Royal Mail. Standard UK Mainland delivery is approx 2-3 working days.

Back Orders

If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Backordered items are not charged for until they are shipped.

Tax Charges

All prices include Value Added Tax (VAT) at the prevailing UK rate of 20%.

Guarantee

You can purchase goods from The Traditional Store in the full knowledge that if a product you receive from Traditional Garden Games does not meet your full expectations then you can return it to us for a full refund within 28 days of the invoice date.

The goods must be returned complete in full accordance with our RETURNS POLICY, including all documentation, all packaging, batteries (if applicable), instructions, returns authorization number and be in a complete resalable condition

Returns Policy

"How do I arrange cancellation and return of my goods under the Distance Selling Regulation?"

The consumer protection act 1991 as amended by the fair trading (amendment) act 2001 allows a "cooling off" period, i.e. a right for you to cancel your order. Note that this is nothing to do with the Sale of Goods Act, which deals with "faulty" products. If your purchase is faulty, we'll deal with this under our normal returns procedure.

If you've received goods and have simply changed your mind about purchasing them and the sale is covered by the relevant distance selling regulations, you may return the goods to us for full credit, less any carriage charges which may have been charged, without a re-stocking fee, subject to the following conditions:

A valid "returns authorisation number" has been issued from The Traditional Store

The item(s) is in stock condition i.e. as it was when it left our warehouse and was delivered to you.

You inform us of your desire to cancel within seven working days of receipt of the product(s).

You pay the return delivery charges using your choice of carrier.

Goods are returned as soon as possible in order that your credit can be processed within 30 days.

Goods are returned in a re-saleable condition and in their original packaging.

If goods are refused by us, because the above criteria are not met, we'll return them to the customer after a further payment has been received for the value of the carriage.
